Congratulations to NDP candidate Doly Begum on being elected to Scarborough Southwest as the ridings firs NDP candidate! We had requested a meeting after the election however as of the time of this posting we had not received a response, however, we are looking forward to hearing from her over the next four years.
On to the next election. We have a municipal election coming up in October and we are preparing to bring you all the news relevant to our community. At the time of writing we have three candidates currently in the running for Councilor, Gerard Arbour, Mohsin Bhuiyan and Gary Crawford.
